A small business started by two Margate brothers has been recognised for work to reduce its impact on the planet.
Knowlton, run by Lloyd and Dan Knowlton, was labelled a “pioneer in the SME sustainability space” in the Carbon Footprint Report by Andrew Stevens of
Sustainability and Business Services LTD , working with Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce.
Lloyd and Dan say they are showing up big businesses by proving firms can prioritise their people, local community, and the planet without sacrificing “traditional business success”.
Lloyd said: “It’s important that we find a way to balance the traditional success of business with their impact on the planet, their local communities, their customers and of course their employees. Knowlton’s positive impact plan and climate positive commitments proves it is achievable even for SMEs.”
